Golden Oak Music offers in-studio lessons at our facility near Newhall Ranch Rd and Rye Canyon/Copperhill at 25030 Avenue Stanford in Valencia within a half mile of L.A. Fitness, Walmart, and a great variety of restaurants. Close schools include Valencia High, Bridgeport Elementary School, Legacy Christian Academy and Albert Einstein. Our proximity to both the Cross Valley Connector and I-5 make for a simple drive whether you’re coming for lessons from Santa Clarita, Newhall, Stevenson Ranch, Canyon Country, Saugus, Castaic, Filmore, Acton, Palmdale or even Los Angeles like some of our students.
Our studio includes spacious sound-isolated rooms. The additional sound proofing that distinguish us from many music studios allows our students to learn undistracted by other lessons that are taking place. Substantially larger rooms also mean you don’t feel like you’re learning in a closet… although if you know your music history some excellent music has been written in closets. We do have one available for use if you feel so inspired.
We offer music lessons in many instruments including piano, voice, strings (violin, etc), guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums, digital music (makin’ beats), and recording and sound-mixing. Piano lessons are given on beautiful new acoustic pianos. We also offer lessons in computer music such as software lessons, dj lessons, sound mixing and recording. Our teaching instruments and tools are kept well-maintained and tuned as we want our students to have the best learning experience possible. We accept both adult and children for music lessons. Also note that several of our teachers have experience teaching children with many different special needs. Even if you feel that your situation may be too difficult for us to handle it doesn’t hurt to ask. As teachers we gain great joy from not just talented students but those who work hard and make personal progress. We love to see students accomplish goals they never thought they could achieve when they first started. Most of all, we want to see our student’s have a fun with music!
